The Torres del Paine Legacy Fund is a nonprofit initiative that seeks to make tourism a vehicle for positive change in Patagonia. We work in Torres del Paine National Park, and its surrounding communities, on park conservation projects and community development initiatives. We aim to reduce strain on this destination's precious natural resources and address gaps in local economic opportunity.

Jekčal / Huemul Project 2022-2024

For two years we have been carrying out concrete actions to support the Conservation of the Huemul (Hippocamelus bisulcus) in Chile.

Here you can see and read in detail about the main milestones of this emblematic project carried out in the Torres del Paine National Park and the Province of Última Esperanza.

During the winter of 2024, a suspension bridge was affected, park rangers from CONAF, CVIP and Legacy Fund quickly mobilized human and financial resources to provide a prompt solution.

Our commitment to the Torres del Paine National Park and to the sustainability of tourism allows us to cooperate in the different actions carried out around its conservation, channeling private funds that support and facilitate its care.

We leverage public and private sector partnerships to conserve Patagonia’s most pristine landscapes and protected areas.
